Hello,

I need to decide on a new camera for my birthday.

-Point & Shoot
-$350 limit
-Macro capability

What do you suggest I get?
How do I know if the camera has macro capability?

Take this Canon SD200 for example, does it have macro capability and how can you tell?

Just read the specs, if it has macro, it will say.

I suggest you read the FAW on top of this page, we need much more info to be able to recommend anything.
