Hello i am having trouble choosing a camera?!

So i am having trouble deciding which one of these cameras should i get: I am looking for the best camera that can take outdoor/nature pictures shots.

    A) Nikon L110 26194 12.1MP Coolpix Digital Camera
    B) Nikon - Coolpix P100 10.3-Megapixel Digital Camera
    C) Canon PowerShot Pro Series S5 IS 8.0MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom

or is there a better option for a budget of $300 camera? thanks.

Where are you shopping? Two of those cameras are a year old and the Canon was introduced back in 2008. Does the size of the camera make a difference to you? Because you can get pocket cameras with 10x zoom lenses now.

I recommend shopping B&H Photo or Adorama, online. They have a much better selection than stores like Comp USA and they probably have better prices, too.

Take a look at my pocket superzoom camera guide. Read through it to learn a little about what to look for and also to get an idea of what you can get in an actual pocket-sized camera: http://reviews.photographyreview.com...cameras-guide/

As far as what's best, superzoom "bridge" cameras like the ones you're looking at will have better lenses and more features than the pocket superzooms. I'd definitely get something newer than the Canon S5 IS, though.

    On sale is good

I lean towards the pocket superzooms since I already own a digital SLR. So if I'm going to get a compact camera, I want it to fit in my pocket. However, if this is your only camera and you don't care if it fits in your pocket, then a camera like the P100 will work great. And I think Nikon's current batch of high-end compacts is very good.

I can definitely recommend the canon powershot from exsperience I have one, and the image quality is awesome. I get such beautiful vibrant pictures from it. I actually use it for photoshoots until I can afford a bigger more advanced camera, but the powershot is what has really started my love for cameras! You can take pics very far away and zoom in and be able to read something from a block away just from the pic. I love my canon and i will never get rid of it even when i get my next camera!
