Having Problems Installing Sony Software For DSC-W17....

Hi everyone, i have recently purchased a Sony DSC W17 camera which i am very pleased with. However, the software that came on the cd is not working. It is called 'sony picture package menu' and if i try and run the program it comes up saying that it has encountered an error and needs to close, also asking me to send an error report.

The USB drivers on the cd were sucessfully installed as i have sucessfully trransfereed pictures from camera - i t is just the photo editing software. Any suggestions?

uninstall the software, run a registry cleaner if you have one... reboot your computer and re-install the software.... if that doesn't work... I would suggest looking on sony's site for an update patch?
