Are there threads on the lens? Every camera and lens can benefit from a lens hood. If it's threaded, then there should be no problem. If it's not threaded, you can probably find a non-threaded hood of some sort. I think someone here made their own soft lens hood. I'll see if I can remember who it was and get them to post.
