My zoom lens has stopped working. When I turn camera on, lens comes out but stutters before coming out fully.
When I turn off, lens goes back very slowly, then stops- hesitates- then goes back normally.
I have no picture in the view finder. I cannot take pictures.

Last time it worked well was in Europe. I cannot recall the camera being mishandled or dropped...but this is how it appears.

Is my finepix a goner??
