Did I make the right choice?

i ordered this camera from www.davismicro.com/products/product_23927.htm yesterday...it is very cheap,
i don't know if it was the right choice... few of my friends told me this site was good and trusted site but when i searched online i found lot of good and bad review as well.should I trust it or not...

Not even the camera, let alone the website.

I'm with SmartWombat. Unless you're looking for a temporary toy, I would stay away from made in China no name cameras.

I'm going to guess that this isn't going to work out for you. Another thing that caught my eye was this misspelling "Image Sensor: 5.0 Mega Pixels COMS Sensor ". If it does have a CMOS sensor I'd be surprised. Let us know how it goes.

actually CMOS can be cheaper and easier to manufacture than CCD. Typically it is CMOS in those dinky little digicams too.

I'm using Firefox as my browser and WOT (Web of trust) and it warned me that this site has a bad reputation.
I would hesitate to give them my credit card number.....
