Date on S500

I just bought a Canon S500 digital camera.
I appreciate if someone can tell me how to imprint the date
on the photo print. I want to have the date on the photo print on the lower right coner
so that I will know when the picture is taken

Hi,

All the image data, when it was taken, settings used, etc. is stored in the image file. It can be viewed by the included software as well as just about any other viewer.

Check your manual to see if the camera has a feature where the date is entered in the image automatically. If it isn't, you will need to use the included software to enter it manually using the text tool. There might also be an option for having it print automatically in your software, that way you won't have to mar the original image with the date.

Read your manuals carefully, I'm sure the answer is already there.
