Chinese version of the Canon 30D ????

I've been camera shopping for the past couple days and ran across a deal for a Canon 30D. Brand new for $459.00 plus free shipping. I thought maybe it was a misprint so I called them and asked for info the camera. They told me it was the Chinese version and the not a magnesium body they were selling $900 something. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I've never heard of a Chinese version of a camera, although you can buy non-US, "gray market" cameras. They will have no warranty. Take a look at our Camera Dealer Feedback forum. I am pretty sure there is some discussion about this dealer.

Yep.....Read some info that was identical to my situation. I could have saved myself some frustration by coming here first.
