CASIO EXILIM EX-Z1000 - 10.1MP Question

I recently got this camera "http://www.amazon.co.uk/EXILIM-EX-Z1.../dp/B000FIBON4".

How do I turn it on? I can access the menu only if it is on its USB dock, as soon as I remove it from its dock its switches off.

When I press the "On/Off" button the little light green light on the top just flashes for a second.

The battery icon shows it fully green.

Any help would be great. Thank You in advance.

I've used a few Casio Exilim digitals and never had any problems. Have you ever been able to turn it on and take pictures? Is it in a shooting mode? If it's in playback mode and you haven't taken any pictures yet, it won't have anything to show. Have you tried taking out the battery and putting it back in? Sometimes that will clear the processor memory and fix electronic glitches.
