Casio EX-Z60 Problem with LCD, HELP!

I bought this camera about a month ago, and I love it! I've been taking great care of it and have never dropped it. However, about a week ago i was taking pictures and all of a sudden after a picture finished processing, the LCD screen became foggy-like. It's really hard to see the pictures on the screen. They come out fine when I upload them on the computer though. I thought all I had to do was turn it off and on, but that didn't work. I still haven't been able to fix it :mad2: so if anyone has had this problem or knows of any way to fix it, please let me know!!

Is it foggy like there's water inside? Or is it something else? If it's water, take out the memory card and battery, leave that compartment open and set it on top of your refrigerator, TV, dryer, or somewhere else warm. Leave it for a day or so to get it completely dry.

If it's not water, I'm not sure what to say. If it's an electronic problem and the warranty is over, you can choose to live with it or buy a new camera. Digital camera repairs usually cost enough that you might as well toss the camera and buy a new one.

    Sorry-

No, it's not water. When it happened it was nowhere near water. It looks something like if you were to turn the brightness all the way up on your monitor or like if the contrast was lowered dramatically. Sort of like a gray-ish overlay.

I still have the warranty cause I've only had it for a month, but I wanted to see if there was anything I could do before I have to got through the whole process of sending it to the company and all that stuff. Thanks anyway

Sounds like the LCD just failed. I'm glad you've still got the warranty. Better to let the pros deal with it. Hopefully the warranty process will be quick and painless.
