Canon SD400 Area Focus?

Is it possible to move the focus manually on the SD400? I cannot find anything in the manual or online about doing such a thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use the center focus option. I don't think you can move the focus point around in area focus. The whole idea of area focus is that the camera's processor evaluates the scene and decides what the subject is, focusing for you. Center focus puts the control in your hands. Most experienced photographers will always use center focus and prefocus, lock the focus, and recompose. That's a tried and true method for selective and accurate auto focus. I have never been able to trust "intelligent" auto focus systems. They work pretty well. But eventually they'll let you down by focusing on something you don't want them to.

If someone has the SD400 and knows more it, please add some information here. I haven't used it and am going on experience with other Canon compact digitals and digital cameras in general.
