Canon Powershot A75 loose part? help!

    Hello,

I just received my Powershot A75 via mail. Although the camera seems to be working ok, I can hear a part loose inside when I shake it. Now I checked and its not any part outside like the shutters. When I open the battery or memory card compartment, I can definately hear a part inside the camera that is loose.

This is brand new and as I am paranoid, I want to check if this is normal?

    Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

This sounds like the orientation sensor. As the manual states, the noise is normal.

I just got a Panasonic FZ20 yesterday and noticed that you can feel a bit of internal movement when the camera is off. Near the end of the owner's manual is a statement that it is because of the lens/IS and is normal when the camera is off. It's not like there is a part rattling around inside, though.
