Canon A80 as a Webcam

hey, i was wanting to hook up my A80 to my comp, and use it for Legomation! (using legos in stop motion animation).

i just couldnt figure out how to set it up i already have the stop motion animating software, but it says it doesnt see a camera. i have the a80 plugged into the usb.
