    Camera Buying opinions

Hey everyone! I want to get a digital camera for my fiance this Christmas and need some good opinions. The price I have in mind is $300 and if I need to spend a lil more, it's not a problem.

I don't want to get just anything, I'd like something that is going to last a while if possible. Looking for something thin and pink. Can you help give me ideas what's good and what's not good? Thanks everyone!

Taking few search on google I found this link (check the first on the result, from nextag), I think the pink one also fits for my sister. She's currently photojournalist on her school.
