Buying Canon A610/A620, unless someone can convince me otherwise!

Hi guys,

After some research I've decided to buy either the Canon PowerShot A610 or A620 (depending if a good price comes up for a A620 on eBay).

I'm willing to spend around the $200 (£100) mark.

Should I buy this camera for this price, or have I missed some better alternatives?? (The size of the Canon is the only downside for me btw.)

I'd really appreciate ANY advice, thank you.

nope. no other advice, this is a fantastic camera. check out the a540 as well for the 200 mark.

Gotta agree with brent. This is a great camera that is packed with features. I have really been digging the Panasonic LZ3. I like the way it feels, the simplicity of the controls, and IS for about $179. Great little camera even if it is only 5MP.
