Best rain protection for cameras?

What does everyone use for rain/water protection? I've seen those clear, disposable looking bag-type covers, and some other colored bag-type covers, but I can't seem to find any recs or reviews.

And is there a forum section for accessories?

We don't have an accessories forum, here or in the Help forum is fine.

I use gaffer tape and a plastic bag, or hide the camera under the rain poncho I wear to keep me dry.
But now I've bought the 300mm f/2.8 I'm going to try the Optech rain sleeves as an emergency measure.

I use a Storm Jacket. I like it because it is a little more sturdy than one of the plastic versions of the same idea.
