    Best $50 used camera?

I'm getting married in June and we want to purchase 10-15 used digital cameras for our guests to use. I was wondering on possible options for a decent used camera, around $50 and at least 3MP.

    thanks for any suggestions.

What have you seen available? I'm not sure what the used digital camera market is like. If you can give us a list of what you've seen available, we can give you some opinions.

Have you checked the digital camera reviews, here? http://www.photographyreview.com/cat...T_3065crx.aspx

Note that the main review category pages mostly show currently available cameras. If you're looking at out-of-production stuff, look for the link at the top of the page that says, "Only Older Products"

I have seen that approach used before, in order to get some photos of the wedding. It usually does not work at all, and certainly not to expectations. In one wedding, they could not find the cameras when they got to the reception area.

Hmmmm - good point! Why not go with the tried and true throwaway film cameras. They're much cheaper and it's no problem to get all the images scanned to CD if all you're after is digitized images.

There's always the CVS disposable digitals.

When I opened our film dropoff the other day, we had about 20 film disposables from a wedding party. The couple had an event photog on site, but the lil cams gave some great candids.

Also, as the others mentioned, be sure to attach a sticky or something to the cameras as to where and when to return them, as people take them when they leave sometimes. The previously mentioned couple said they "lost" about a dozen cameras.
