    Question Asking price is $150 for 12 mega pixel digital video camera?

    I saw a camera called GlobalElectronics on https://www.fididel.com/itemdetails.php?id=352411,
    Its asking price is $150 ( i donot think it expensive) and the price is still can be negotiated further. But i donot know its brand, so i am a little hesitated.

    The pic says Panasonic but the info doesn't show.

    those really cheap high megapixel cameras are always really low res and the 12 megapixel is only an interpolation.... I would rather get a good old camera thats 2 megapixel, those brand-x ones are terrible.

    I bought the camera finally. And the price and condition of it satisfys me at least still now.

    Well, you know the old saying ... a ten dollar helmet is perfect for a ten dollar head. The same holds true for camcorders. Sure, they can claim 12 mp, but how large is the chip? what kind of glass do they use in their lenses? Is it digital or optical zoom? Well, the answer is in the specs - and it's digital zoom. Which means it takes the image and blows it up. the more you blow it up, the more pixelation you get and more camera shake. Plus very poor low light performance.

    Now, for that same price, in about a month, you could pick up the Kodak Zix or the RCA HD300 and record in HD. See where I'm going there?
