Any Suggestions for Good Cameras? From a photographer in the making...

I am looking for a 5 to 6 megapixel digital camera. I want it to be able to be used for high quality pictures, as well as portraits. My budget is between 200 to 300 dollars. Also, i don't want my images to be fuzzy when they are blown up to more than 8x10. I currently have an olympus, which i like. However, it is rather large and i am needing a smaller camera.

We have a Canon SD550 that we love, and is going for just about $300 right now. It's a 7.1MP as well. Good luck in your search, and make sure to read the reviews on this site. They are extremely helpful!
