Fuji has addressed some of the downfalls of the X100 with the X100s. Faster focus, easier manual focus with a digital split screen in the finder and more. It looks good.

Fujifilm X100S Announced – Exactly The Same But Better

One thing you left out in your first post Greg, is the new sensor. The X100S now has an X-Trans sensor, just like the X-Pro1. That means much better image quality. The hybrid auto focus is exciting too, although I am always skeptical of speed claims. I don't really care how quick auto focus is - I just want it to work. And where mirrorless cameras really need improvement is continuous auto focus. So far the results with embedded phase detect pixels have been very mixed. Hopefully Fujifilm got it right
