400D Instruction Manual?

Does anyone know where to get an original instruction manual for a 400D? A friend of mine is looking for one. I know about the PDF versions you can download and print. He's looking for an original. Canon says they don't sell them. I checked ebay and couldn't find anything. Any ideas?

I'm surprised Canon doesn't sell them. I got a manual for my Elan 7n from them a few years ago. I think they charged me $7 or something like that. Have you looked into the Magic Lantern manuals? They are not the originals, but they are much more detailed.

I'll suggest the Magic Lantern manual, but I think he really wants the original because it's pocket size.

I would try and give them a call, plus it's a 800 number so only the time you spend on the phone with them. Might be worth a shot.

I called them and spoke to a real person! In fact, I had to call them twice. The first time, they sent me the wrong manual. I was going to send it back, but they didn't want it.
