    please! need much help!!

I want to move to buying a Canon. I take a lot of nature and wildlife, many on the move and a lot of closeups. birds nesting, macro shots etc...which would be a good camera to start with? simplicity quickness, not too advance, also what would be the best zoom lens to add be If needed? I need all the help I can get here! Thanks!

You haven't told us whether you are looking at a point and shoot or a digital SLR. Depending on which, advice would be quite different. Since you asked about a zoom, I am going to assume that you are looking for a DSLR camera. If you into Canon's models, than any of the Rebel models would be a good place to start, you may even find a used one in good condition.

As for lenses, that is a different story. Your description of the kind of photography you do suggest that you may require a macro lens and maybe a zoom telephoto or two. Personally, I have the 16-35, the 24-105 and the 100-400 plus a 50 mm macro, but that's talking a lot of $$. You might also look at the Sigma lenses as they are often close to the Canon, fewer $$. Maybe you will get additional advice from others here. HTH a bit.

    Cheers,

As Western Guy stated, any of the Canon EOS 'Rebel' DSLR cameras (XT,XS,XTi,XSi) are very good choices. You can also get some pretty good deals on 'used' equipment, instead of paying full retail on new equipment - just be careful, and buy from a reputable source who will stand behind the product in case of any problems. As I was advised, pay as little as you can for a camera body, and invest in good glass (lenses). Check the Canon USA website, and other camera reviews, to see what features each Rebel model has, that will best fit your picture taking requirements, and decide what course of action you need to take to obtain your goal within a budget you can afford. Good luck, and have fun !
