Best kit deal on the 50D?

After putting off buying a new camera for the last 6 months, i'm finally ready to get it done in the next few days. Pretty sure i want to go with the 50D.
Just wondering what thoughts were on the best kit deals from B&H or any where else is?
Looks like the deal with the Canon 18-200mm IS Lens might be the best. Does anyone have any experience with this lens?
I shoot mostly Mountain bike action shots, but i am looking to start shooting anything, and everything.
I have been shooting for the last 4 years or so, with the Rebel XT, and the 18-55 lens it came with.
Money, is not much of a concern. Mostly i'm just looking for the best lens that goes into a kit deal.
    Thanks for any help.

Also, could somebody tell me the benifits of this lens over the other.
Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM Autofocus lens.
against the lens that comes with the kit.
    Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Autofocus Lens.

They both cost the same on their own.

The kit lens gives you more range.....with the 70-300 you lose everything from 18 to 69.
Also the kit lens has IS(image stabilization and the 70-200 doesn't. You also have a bit wider aperture depending on focal length.

Thanks Frog. I actually knew all that, except i didn't notice that the 70-200 didn't have the IS. Also i'm not sure of the difference of "zoom telephoto", and the other lens not being.

I am more looking for any info on good kit deals for the 50D, with a lens. All i really know of is B&H, and their Canon 18-200mm IS Lens kit deal looks to be the best one. Am i correct in the B&H deal?

I would look at our camera dealer feedback forum and check the recommended sites.

Recommended sites and sites to avoid

You won't go wrong with B&H but there might be a better deal out there.
