Hello Everyone, This is my first time ever posting but I am exhausted after searching google so I thought I would just ask some pro's. I am a small town photographer who is just getting started. I am shooting with a canon rebel xti. I need some assistance with lighting. I am looking for a battery pack that allows quick charge time. I find my self waiting for the sunpak flash to charge and am missing some great shots in the process. Do you have any recommendations? What about a frame for the camera? Thank you very much for your time.

I think the 580EX II should work good for you. Even when I´m using it on the 1D MKIII it has enough power/fast recycle to make about 10 shots per second. My 430EX gets about 10-6. But both are quit expensive so it would be good to know who much you would like to spend.
You should buy some good batteries, too. When I´m using cheap batteries the recycle time is often twice as long as with the expensive ones.

What I highly recommend is to use a bouncer with the 580EX or 430EX. The light gets a lot better when using it. My first bouncer was a small white box, those you see often television. Light is better than without a bouncer but not as good as with my new one:

It´s called "photo lambency shade" and I love it! It looks a little bit strange and at the beginning I felt silly while using it but the light is realy nice. And you can still use Lee-Filters

This is my first posting too, but I do have a bit of experience with your problem.

You don't say what Sunpak model you have, but I used to use a Quantum Battery pack with one when I was shooting weddings a number of years ago. These will recharge very quickly and have adapters to fit most flash units on the market. There are several models in various price ranges, but the one I'm familiar with hangs on your shoulder or clips to a belt and has a coiled cord that goes up to the battery compartment of your flash unit. You remove the batteries and put the adapter with it's attached cord in their place. Turn it on and you're good to go. You can find them by Googling up Quantum battery packs.
