    Copyright in Meta.

I'm using a 1d MkII and I heard that you can put your name so it appears in the metadata of each image shot? I can't figure out how to do this. Did I hear just a rumor?

    No rumor
You need to do it using the supplied software and cable through your computer. The old 1D has the same thing as well, but for some reason both cameras take different cables which really bites when you have both bodies and the dog chewed one of the cables.

Anyway, you need to set that up through the cable, as well as any personal functions you want to set up. Once set up you can then go in from menu to change the settings. Follow the software installation directions and then update it all on Canons site (make sure you get the correct ones for your computer ie: PC or MAC). Once set up, hook up the camera and start setting it up. There are instructions on the PFn (personal functions) in the manual.
If you need help though, PM me.
