Canon brings EOS movies to Final Cut Pro

Not that I think Canon were listening to me

But my main complaint about video enabled cameras is the poor software support.
Whether DSLR or micro 4/3, the supplied software has been less than stellar.

Now it looks like Canon is doing something about it.

Unfortunately that doesn't help Windows users who shoot video with Canon cameras or anything else that uses the .MOV format.

But often features tend to migrate down the range, maybe slower than we'd like.
I hope that what Canon are doing, in providing better support for (at least some of) their cameras, will spread to other manufacturers.
Like the micro four thirds manufacturers
