Vivitar Announces New ViviCam 8600s

Oxnard, California–(February 13, 2006) – Vivitar launched the new ViviCam 8600s camera today. Loaded with technology, this slim device slips easily into your pocket or purse, ready to shoot great photographs or videos.

The camera shoots 8.1 MP photos for incredible detail and great prints. The camera also has a 6x optical and an 8x digital zoom for incredible close ups of distant subjects. With PictBridge support, you can select and print your photos directly from your camera without a computer.

The ViviCam 8600s has a huge 2.8” color LPTS display so you can easily see the screen in bright sunlight or indoors helping you shoot the best photos possible.
