Mirra Personal Servers - Press Release

Mirra, Inc. Presence Expands to 650 Best Buy Retail Stores Nationwide; Customer Demand Prompts Company to Introduce Larger-Capacity Mirra Personal Servers

SUNNYVALE, Calif. & CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 2005--Mirra, Inc., manufacturer of digital content protection products for the small and home office, today announced expansion of the Mirra Personal Server distribution into 650 Best Buy retail stores nationwide. Mirra also announced the introduction of two new, higher-capacity Mirra Personal Servers with 160GB and 400GB drives while also announcing a $250 price drop on the 250GB model. These changes create new higher-value price points and capacities for the Mirra Personal Server product line as follows: 160GB for $399.99, 250GB for $499.99 and 400GB for $799.99. Customer demand instigated the company's move to larger-capacity models, which replace the 80GB and 120GB versions. These are the latest in a series of company initiatives as Mirra positions itself for rapid growth and for expansion into broader markets.

"Best Buy continues to be a strong and innovative retail partner for us," said Peter Radsliff, Mirra's vice president of marketing. "The expansion to 650 Best Buy stores adds another proof point to Mirra's success story. With Best Buy's brand-building strength behind us, the larger and more affordable Mirra Personal Servers will be accessible to even more people who need a guaranteed backup solution for multiple PCs."

Professionals who work in small offices or from their home are acutely aware of the need for protecting their digital content and that of their clients. By offering continuous backup, overwrite/undelete protection, remote access and secure sharing for clients, Mirra has created the ideal solution for businesses that want more functionality than is offered by storage devices, but are too small to stomach the complexity or cost of an enterprise server.

"Mirra is the ideal solution for me as a sole practitioner," said Mirra owner Christine Robison, and attorney at The Law Offices of Christine A. Robison, APC. "I especially like the automatic backup and that I'm able to access my files from anywhere I can get an Internet connection. But perhaps the best part is that I never have to worry about a hard disk crash, because all of my important files are backed up automatically."

Mirra eliminates the complexity of managing valuable documents and digital photos across multiple PCs by integrating PC software, Web services, and an intelligent "always-on" network appliance into the only all-in-one content protection solution that's affordable and easy to use. The Mirra Personal Server provides continuous backup of data from multiple PCs, free secure online remote access and file sharing, and automatic file synchronization across networked computers. It's an easy-to-use data protection and collaboration tool that provides peace of mind knowing precious data is "mirrored" in at least two locations.

    About Mirra, Inc.

Mirra Personal Servers now offer the MirraGuard Data Protection Guarantee and are available at Best Buy and Fry's Electronics stores plus online at Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, CompUSA.com, Dell.com, Mirra.com, NewEgg.com and RitzCamera.com.
