Pro Digital Workflow Tour Instructor Kevin Ames to Host Three Sessions at PhotoPlus Conference & Expo 2006

Digital photographer attendees will enhance workflow by learning valuable tips and techniques from hands-on workshops

New York, NY – October 27, 2006 – Blue Pixel announced today that talented digital photographer Kevin Ames, the current instructor for its Pro Digital Workflow Tour, will add to his teaching schedule by hosting three hands-on workshops for digital photographers of all levels at PhotoPlus Conference & Expo 2006.

For beginner, intermediate and advanced digital photographers, each two-hour session will showcase Ames’ expertise and insight on lighting techniques and Aperture, Apple's new pro photographic software.

“By hosting these workshops along with Blue Pixel’s Pro Digital Workflow seminar series around the country, I am giving digital photographers a chance to learn and enhance their own techniques,” said Ames. "Teaching is a way of giving back. I want to show people who participate in my programs how to think digitally. I want to show them how digital photography offers a whole set of creative tools that go way beyond tips and tricks. I hope to illustrate how to apply these techniques creatively to get the visualized images of the mind's eye out into the world for others to see and enjoy."
