Fujifilm FinePix F20 Digital Camera - Press Release

FUJIFILM FINEPIX F20 PRODUCES TRUE -TO- LIFE PICTURES WITH EASE

ISO Equivalency Speeds Up To 2000, Easy-to-Use Picture Stabilization Mode Gives Consumers The Real Picture

Valhalla, NY, June 12, 2006 - Perfect for families looking for a compact digital camera that will produce great shots in almost any condition, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A, Inc. announced today the launch of the FinePix F20, the latest addition to its family of cameras with Real Photo Technology.

Sitting alongside the multiple-award winning FinePix F30 in Fujifilm's high-end compact range, the FinePix F20 is an affordable digital camera for photo lovers who don't want to compromise on quality. With sensitivity levels of up to ISO 2000 and advanced Picture Stabilization technology, the FinePix F20 delivers detailed, natural looking photographs with little need for flash, even in very low light...without image blur.

The FinePix F20's sleek, lightweight proportions disguise its technology-heavy specifications. Featuring a 6.3 MegaPixel 6th Generation Super CCD, RP Processor II and ISO 100-2000 sensitivity, the F20 delivers images that remain sharp and natural in bright sunshine, low light or with fast moving subjects. Fujifilm's Real Photo Technology cameras are among the only digital compact cameras to deliver high ISO at full resolution. This means there's no need for a trade off between high-quality, low light photography, and potential print size.

For those moments when a flash is needed, the FinePix F20's i-Flash intelligent flash system automatically sets power output and exposure for balanced results, combining natural foreground illumination with optimum background exposure. Its innovative Dual Shot mode takes two pictures in quick succession; one with flash, and one without, then displays them side-by-side for on-the-spot comparison.

With one-touch Picture Stabilization, 15 scene positions, and 300 shot battery life, the FinePix F20 will be a constant companion; producing photographs of stunning quality no matter where it’s taken.

In addition to Real Photo Technology, the FinePix F20 possesses a number of other impressive features:
    • ISO 2000 (*) sensitivity at full resolution (* on Picture Stabilization and Natural Light Mode or ISO1600 on Auto and Manual Mode)
    • Picture Stabilization button to set high shutter speed to reduce the risk of blurry images
    • Fujinon 3.0x optical zoom lens
    • Long-life rechargeable Li-ion battery (up to 300 shots)
    • Quick response times (0.01 second shutter lag and 1.4 second start-up)
    • 15 selectable scene position modes
    • 2.5-inch LCD
The FinePix F20 will be available in August 2006 at a retail cost of $299.95.
