Free Photoshop Elements Training Session Offered by KW Media Group and Adobe
Tampa, FL – Jan. 20, 2005 – KW Media Group and Adobe Systems announced today that a free Photoshop Elements training session will be held Monday, Jan. 31st from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, Texas. The Photoshop Elements 3 Summit, hosted by Photoshop Elements Techniques newsletter and its companion website, www.photoshopelementsuser.com will cover the new features found in the latest edition of the popular Adobe Photoshop Elements image editing software and explore the variety of actions and techniques that it offers.
“This is our first in a series of nationwide Photoshop Elements Summits, and we’re excited about the opportunity to get to know America’s Elements users and offer them a training session specifically tailored to their needs,” said Dave Cross, editor-in-chief of Photoshop Elements Techniques.
The summits are part of KW Media Group’s new Elements education and training initiative, which includes the content-rich Photoshop Elements Techniques newsletter, published eight times a year and the internet’s largest, most comprehensive Elements-dedicated website, www.photoshopelementsuser.com , featuring online tutorials, downloads, video tips, creative challenges and a collaborative community of Elements users sharing their knowledge and techniques in a lively and informative discussion forum.
Cross, a renowned Photoshop instructor and author of several Photoshop books, will conduct the Arlington training session, which is open to the public as well as photographers, artists and hobbyists of all proficiency levels. Cross is also the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) senior education and curriculum developer.
“One of the great things about Elements is its diverse cross section of users,” Cross said. “From amateur and professional photographers to artists and graphic designers; administrative professionals use it to create presentation materials and scrapbookers use it to design page layouts. It’s high-yield creativity with a readily accessible learning curve.”
In addition to the tutorials and training, the event will include a question and answer session, random prize drawings and giveaways from KW Media Group, Photoshop Elements Techniques and Adobe.
