Creative professionals acquire digital photography skills through DesignMentor Training taught by the professional documentary photographer and Sony published author, Stephen Voss.
New York, New York—June 23, 2006 — Creative professionals and amateur photographers can learn digital photography from Stephen Voss, an accomplished Washington, DC-based photojournalist ( http://training.sessions.edu/faculty/facultybios/Stephen_Voss.asp ). With Voss, students explore each step of the photo journey from generating a concept through its exploration, treatment, selection and presentation. The author of The ImageStation Guide to Improving Your Photography most recently worked on over 300 assignments for the Pulitzer-Prize winning Willamette Week . Voss began his college career in Computer Science but found his passion through photography when a friend suggested he take a photography class. "It's easy to lose perspective and scrounge around for a way to get by, when the best thing to do is to put yourself in a position where you're doing the things you want to, and if you're passionate about it, a way will present itself to allow you to continue doing what you love," said Stephen Voss.
