Carl Zeiss & Englewood Camera Host Field Trip
Thornwood, N.Y. – The Photo Division of Carl Zeiss and Englewood Camera of Littleton, CO recently hosted a field trip to the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO. Customers of Englewood Camera had an opportunity to use a variety of Zeiss Ikon rangefinder cameras & lenses and ZF, F-mount lenses to photograph the locomotives and rail cars on display.
Despite warm and humid conditions, the 15 photographers who attended the event spent a full day trying some of the 7 cameras and 30+ lenses available. Of particular interest were the wide-angle rangefinder ZM lenses, such as the Distagon T* 2.8/15 ZM and Biogon T* 2.8/21 ZM, and the new F-mount macro lenses, the Makro-Planar T* 2/50 ZF and 2/100 ZF. Fujifilm USA provided sample rolls of their Acros and Velvia films and a new FinePix S5 Pro digital SLR was on display for customers to view.
