This is amazing - beautiful upgrade. 2.5" LCD screen! 9 point AF, automatic sensor dust cleaner (for the official name), new sensor made specifically for the XTi and more. Wow!

Good news about the price too - $799 body only - some 350XT's are still selling for $700.....however, Canon just lowered that price also.

I just sold my 70-300 IS lens due to the weight (back problem). If I sold the XT, I could buy the 400D and have something left over. I'm not replacing the 70-300 with anything because there is nothing that length that is light weight.

Holy crap, that is awesome. I can only hope they put this on the "40D", or whatever it will be called, as well.
