October 17, 2005 – Blue Pixel Digital Experts, leading photographers and consultants committed to teaching digital photography from an unbiased, real-world perspective, announced plans today to build on the success of the popular Just Show Me How seminar series in 2006. Next year’s professional seminar series, entitled Blue Pixel Presents”, is designed to educate and improve the day-to-day digital imaging experience of art directors, nature photographers, and professional commercial and portrait photographers. The 2006 season will include:

The Nature’s Best Photography Experience™

The Digital Pro Workflow Tour™ with Kevin Ames
Commercial, wedding, and event photographers have a growing multitude of options for managing their workflow. Renowned workflow expert and Photoshop guru Kevin Ames will help to increase a Pro’s workflow efficiency without sacrificing quality. Season starts Sept. 06

“We’re currently carrying out the third Just Show Me How™ seminar series around the country, focused on improving digital-imaging workflow, and the feedback from both our series attendees and partners has been consistently positive. As we expand our offerings for next year, I’m confident that our ‘real-world’ approach to digital photography education is one of the most effective available to digital photographers today,” said Kevin Gilbert, President and CEO of Blue Pixel. “We are directly addressing the needs of attendees and partners with workshops designed to inspire and educate about critical digital workflow topics. These new programs will help those who work within ad agencies and studios, and those who focus on nature photography, while maintaining a focus on professional commercial and portrait photographers.”

“The Blue Pixel seminars are among the best in photography,” said Christopher Robinson, Editor, Digital Photo Pro. “For anyone interested in quickly and easily learning tips and techniques that will improve their experience between capture and output, the Blue Pixel seminars are ideal. The opportunity to be educated by genuine photography experts is unmatched,” he added.

The 2006 Blue Pixel Presents seminar series will begin in February. The Nature’s Best Photography Experience™ will kick off the season and will reach the major metropolitan areas where nature photographers thrive, while the Art Director’s Digital Roadshow™ will begin in April and continue throughout the year, connecting with the major cities where ad agencies, picture agencies, and art directors work. Each series will include one-day sessions that will take place in 10-15 cities nationwide and will be led by a distinguished, well-respected Blue Pixel certified professional photography expert. Past seminar hosts include editor and professional photographer Rob Galbraith and professional photographer and author Kevin Ames, who will reprise his role in the new Digital Pro Workflow Tour ™ premiering in September.

Blue Pixel has a limited number of partnership opportunities available for the 2006 “Blue Pixel Presents” season, with a prime package that allows organizations to reach out to attendees of all three seminars. Partner companies will also receive a comprehensive list of tour-related marketing opportunities. Details regarding these opportunities can be obtained by email at partners@bluepixel.net.
