On May 4th through 7th 2006 in Toronto Ontario Canada, the Analog Photography Users Group (apug.org) in partnership with J and C Photo will be holding a conference for amateur and professional photographers to celebrate and promote the use of film in the medium of photography. The APUG conference will be based at the Elevator Gallery a multi use facility which is 15 minutes from Toronto's downtown core.

The APUG conference will have 17 workshops including street photography, cross processing, lith printing, studio portraiture, solarization, introduction to large format photography, carbon printing and numerous portfolio reviews. The instructors who will be leading the workshops include Les McLean, Sandy King, Tim Rudman, Paula Chamlee, Michael A. Smith and many others. The workshops will be a half day in length, further details and enrollment information can be found here. Other events open to all conference attendees include two round table discussions, demonstrations, lectures, photo tours of Toronto, Forks of the Credit Provincial Park and Gallery Tours.

In addition to the workshops, lectures, and photo outings, there will be a Gallery show, silent auction, product venders, food, music, and most importantly round the clock lab services available to all attendees."
