Kudos for B&H

I kept watching ebay for a nikon 50mm but also checked Adorama and B&H where they were new for 114. Well used ones were selling for $90 + on ebay and I'm figuring the small savings aren't worth going used.
I compared B&H with Adorama and both had the same price but B&H had much lower shipping so I ordered there. My order was confirmed and shipped the next day..Thursday I think and I got it today. I guess some kudos should go to us mail as it was sent 1st class and got here in 3 business days. I didn't get a phone call to confirm my order or telling me it was out of stock or even that I needed to buy a battery for it.

I agree about B&H. If you order something over the phone, they sometimes ask if you need a battery or anything. The question is asked only once and very quickly - they are very polite - and once you say no thanks, that's it. They never ask when you order online - and the service is the same in store. They are great! I buy my equipment either through them or through Normancamera.com which is an awesome place also - they usually have things in stock when no one else does.
