Oh yea, nice capture. I've got something similar in my folder, about 20 letter boxes in a row. Thanks for sharing. S

Nice capture, the milk jug really adds to it! What makes it a true redneck picture is the (apparent) bottle of motor oil on the grass...

Come to rural Alaska, you see stuff like that on every corner. It would make for an interesting project too, "Alaskan Mailboxes".

I had it pegged as a Budweiser quart size bottle, but either way it's 100% redneck :D
I always love seeing shots like this. Good job cah027, well spotted and extra points for having the P&S at the ready

Hi Cah027. I like your image and the title fits.
I've moved it to the Viewfinder forum where we share general photos.
The project forum is for specific monthly assignments and challenges.
    Thanks for sharing

Hey, you captured the feel of it anyhow, and the title 'splains it all :)

It just reminded me of a little game I play with my (older) kids while we're going for a long distance drive. We have a little contest to see who can spot and lay claim to which horrid structure and call it their new home first. While passing an old broken down camper with the roof caving in, a kid will yell "I saw it first! That's my new house!" and other kids are jealous. This is how we amuse ourselves in the car. Pretty sick, I know LOL

That mailbox looks like it must be perched in front of one of my kids "dream homes".
