You might be a photographer if...

... you find yourself trying to decide if you should leave the second body and teleconverter at home, but are afraid you'll miss moments at the wedding you're going to be a guest at. :mad2:

Re: You might be a photographer if...

... the difference between your "wedding photog" kit and your "wedding guest" kit is only defined by a teleconverter and one body.

Can you tell I'm reflecting a bit before I leave?

I can defiantly relate to your situation.

You might also be a photographer if: When friends and acquaintances look at your pictures and say, "Wow these are great you must have a good camera."
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

You find yourself constantly explaining to people that NO, when I said I want to shoot that (insert what ever animal or bird here), I didn't mean with a gun.

You might be a photographer if though processes are like this, while out on a hike.

Wife, "Oh thats a nice looking tree, I should take a picture of it."

Me, "Oh thats a nice looking tree, which lens should I use to photograph it? Wide to get the whole thing, or macro closeups of the bark & leaves?"

The Local Lab knows you by name.
The Local Pro lab knows you by name.
The Lab asks why you just buy film, and not get the processing (because you do it yourself)
The Lab sees you walk in and has the film you always get out and ready for you.

People never ask if you have a camera, they assume you do.
You have trouble choosing which camera to bring.
You have trouble choosing which lenses to bring.

You spend more money on photographic supplies then food.

I must not be much of a photographer. The only one I can relate to is the one from Old Timer. However, I do find the rest quite entertaining and am sure they pertain to many of you photo nuts.
