Yeah I have to agree that is nice glass. I have the the old 80-200 f2.8 that I love and have used to death the last several years, but I'd love to upgrade to the 70-200 f2.8 to take advantage of the silent wave and the VR. Looking forward to see a lot more form you and tis lens.

I'm with Old Timer. I have the 80-200mm f2.8, and it is my most used lens! I keep it mounted on my D300 and only take it off when I've got to wider.

I agree it's a really great lens, I'd like to be able to use it more when I'm in the streets doing people shots, but I still feel uncomfortable that it makes me look to obvious. S
