    Re: Wine & Bike Tour 2005- Photog-get-together...

    Just some basic details:

I've arranged for complimentary private tours and tastings at Wente Vineyards, and their sister vineyard Murrietta's Well.

We will begin at Wente for a tour, then tasting, picnic in their garden, then head over (either bike or drive 1/2 mile) to Murietta's well for a repeat tour and tasting.
Afterwards, its a approx. a 7 mile ride to Del Valle Lake if any of the bike guys/gals are up to it.

Hope you can make it out.
RSVP is necessary for this event!

I'd love to go, but after a bit of wine, I don't think I'd be able to ride my bike.

Sounds like a good time, I think you get the official Gathering Organizer Tiara!

    Re: Wine & Bike Tour 2005- Photog-get-together...

    Adina,
No need to ride after you drink... you could walk or ride with a non drinker... or PJ could give you a ride on his handlebars! haha.
Hold off on that tiara until I can get atleast more than 5 people to show up!
I just want to spread the PR word and get people excited.
I've extended the invitation to some friends of mine as well that I know have photography interests.
If I can get them fired up that is more users on PR, more people participating in PR.com and helping expand the knowledge base.

I'd love to be there but I just reported back to school and the lottery pulled the wrong numbers again.

    Good luck!!!

    Rebekah,

That's great..I thought it was going to be on the 17th and I would be unable to make it. NOW, I will be there with my wife.

I will ride there from Mountain View, but Karen will be going by car.

    Thanks for the event!!!

Love that quote... i really have to be in the mood for a red zin to drink it though.
I love cab, cab blends, pinot noir is striking chords with me regularly
its been so hot that i've been chilling pinot grigio and serving it up with raspberries and peaches in the glass. sort of an impromptu white sangria.

    Not Sure

I'm not sure about this one yet. The US national mountain bike championships are at Mammoth Mountain that weekend. I haven't committed to going yet, but I should go.

Ugggh. Summer is soooo busy for me.

I wish I could come too, but you're a bit too far away to bike to. Had you made it Oct 23, and down near San Diego, well then I could come! (My friend is getting married)

    Re: Wine & Bike Tour 2005- Photog-get-together...

    Hi Rebekah,

I've been suffering from the flu the past two weeks, and still cannot shake it. It doesn't look like we can make it this Sunday. Despite being sick, I've had to photograph two weddings and a third on Saturday. I'll be lucky to make it past Saturday evening.

    I really want to go....

    Should We Cancel?

I am too sick to go. , and Loren is out too

I know John and 2 others were going to attend...
Do you guys still want to attend?

If so, they will just move the tasting into the tasting room instead of having it done privately.

    Let me know your thoughts.
