    Re: Why I take pictures

    Thankyou everyone!
I was doing photos for my sons 4x4 club's poker run and he had one of the check points.
This was taken during a break in the action. I was shooting in aperture priority,(f/8) and jpeg fine as I wasn't going to be editing anything. They were loading the shots at camp and selling to make money for the club.
I turned, I focused on them, and then composed. I was pretty amazed when I opened the shot and yes there will be a few prints made.
Catching these moments is why I keep trying and why my eyes are constantly roving.
    Keep Shooting!

    Beautiful!

My only wish would have been to have the boy on the stump instead of his grandpa, but I'd still make a nice big print anyway with it.

Frog' there is more mood and emotion in this photograph than all the "perfect face to camera" shots put together that I have seen.

    Re: Why I take pictures

    You got the touch!
The second one looks slightly over saturated on my screen.
Would have been nice to have the second motif in landscape format as well. I think it works better with the scene because you don't need as much foreground and as much white fog.

You can be very proud, though, about son, grand son, and images.
