Re: What would you take?
Rick,
When someone is as devoted as Michael to serving, their work IS their vacation.

Re: What would you take?
My god man! I hadn't though of it that way!
I'll bet you that $1000 bonus I was going to offer him would have been a big insult to him! The real way to honor a servant of his caliber is to give more work!
Yippee!

Re: What would you take?
The gas for this trip is gonna cost a bundle. You think he could push my car from D.C. to Maine?

Re: What would you take?
My friend, the question is not "could" he. The correct question is "how much pleasure would it bring Michael if you were allow him to push your car from DC to Maine?"
Surely, a man of his caliber would take much pleasure from such a venture.

I don't know. It depends on how big of a swimming pool Rick needs. :)

Just make sure the E-brake is set, and I would be thrilled to do it!

You're not taking into consideration the cropping factor of your camera body. Since you're shooting with a 20D, you have a 1.6 crop already, which turns your 70-200mm into a 112-320. Adding a 1.4 TC on the end to that gives you a 157-448mm if I did my math right.
Hmm....why haven't I run out to buy one of these yet?? :D :D
