We're really good at blowing stuff up too...
We have a huge fireworks display right in the middle of downtown. That is lightning in the background and I think I have some better ones with lightning on film - but that will have to wait. This spot I planned to be at since last year - which is the top of a six story parking garage. Not as great as I hoped, but I also looked at a spot on the river. I wanted a reflection, but the wind direction didn't work. Try that one next year. A couple other shots - the motorcycle parade and another one that hopefully doesn't require explanation. Hope everyone had a great 4th!

    The last shot
The last shot is kind of funny! I can relate. Who hasn't had to wait in long lines for the porta-potty? I like the motion blur and the arial view.

    I like that last one...
ALOT! Usually when you see motion blur it's not with sunset light :) That's a different feel. I like it. I'm also anxious to see your lightening shots.

I thought last night how great it would be to see the moon hanging in the distance with the fireworks in front of them - maybe in my lifetime I'll get to see that :)

    Thanks for sharing
