Went to a park, met an awesome goose.
Well, I've never been too much of a fan of ducks or geese, But I had to shoot them. (and the surrounding area.) I met a super fearless one-legged goose. I named it Fearless, because it honestly had no fear. I'm not sure on the name of the park, but I found it on Local.Live. XD I had my 19-35 lens with me, and so I had to get close to get the good shots, And ol Fearless here was fine with it! It was amazing, I had my lens literally less than a foot away from him at times.
I like this picture cause the Geese kinda lead you off in a certain direction. I dunno, Critique would be nice, to be honest.

This one has a nice rainbow/lens flare in it, plus its a duck! (I think)

I like this one cause of the pose of the three geese, But the background is a bit too busy. :(

Don't follow the leader? XD. The shadowy effect is great, in my opinion.

This stick was peculiar. It had no purpose being there, and it was wedged in pretty good. I like the reflection on the water.

The migration of the geese! XD. Some guy threw out chips or something, and the geese all turned and looked over like "FOOD?" Kinda like the "MINE?" scene from Finding Nemo.

Heres Fearless in all his fearlessness. Notice the one leg. Poor guy. :(

He even posed for me! (He changed poses right after the shutter clicked, so I assumed he was modeling. XD.)

I dunno why I like this shot. It has kind of a Duck looking over the rest of them feel too it, but I dunno.

And what I feel is the best, the shot I call, "Fearless". I think the shot explains itself.

Comments & Critique would be nice. :)
Re: Went to a park, met an awesome goose.
tel, i think many of them are a bit too dark. like the shot with the collection of geese is nice, but it's very dark and there's not very much detail to it. overall I feel they are decent subjects, but they don't really have any pop to them. It's not just you, geese in particular aren't very exciting. I keep meaning to start my WA project with animals, but you just inspired me to take some geese photos.
Re: Went to a park, met an awesome goose.
I have geese, to many at present. But all the babies geese are going to a friends farm. They are great watch animals. I've had delivery persons refuse to come up the walk. The city kids learn very fast not to come into the yard ;-)
Re: Went to a park, met an awesome goose.
it's because they're mean! I have a friend who has geese and they don't hesitate to attack if they feel like it.
Re: Went to a park, met an awesome goose.
I was bitten by a swan when I was young which I can't say makes me want to get too close to Geese.
I like the fourth one down alot, if you fiddled it a little in photoshop or equivalent it might be quite nice. The composition looks good to me, rather like a flock of young geese moving towards a parent, but then you stop and think actually they can't be that, they're all the same size, so why are they doing that? Some sort of leader goose?
Also I'm afraid your not 'The Only Member Under 20' anymore Tel, I'm 19 :P
