    Well... I waassss sleeping!

Along with the FT3 my Uncle gave me, I also received a Nikkor-P 10.5cm f/2.5. He was asking how I liked it as it was always his favorite. You know me, I can't resist with my cats in the window

Glad to see that someone out there still knows what film is. The cat is adorable. Reminds me of my late kitty Georgie basking in the sun.

The old 105's are supposed to be among the best they've ever made - very sharp and really smooth out of focus areas. Sort of a Leica look to it, and Nikon's 28 f1.4 and 85 f1.4. Nice!

Our cat knows all the sun spots in the house, too.
    Nice shots.

a_v, seems to be a nice lens so far. Unfortunately this wasn't the best test for bokeh. I love the feel of these old lenses though. You could club someone over the head with them and shoot their picture afterwards...LOL

    Thanks Frog

Thanks Brent I'm a little on the fence about the heavy contrast with these. Part of me likes it but, part of me would have liked a touch more detail I love it with the 4th shot though. Made for some crazy eyes.

Wonderful, the 4th shot is my favorite as well - love the eyes. The sharpness is great.

    Re: Well... I waassss sleeping!

while as a photograph #3 is a bit too dark in places, I love the expression on the cat's face at that point. "I've tried to ignore that clicking sound, dude, but really, can you give it a rest already?"

    Thanks guys

Opus, these cats are so photographed, they are more than used to the clicking. It's the flash that drives them nuts. He woke up for a little bit and once he saw I wasn't using a flash, he went right back to sleep...LOL
