Hello everyone, I just signed up. I am the designated photographer for my company. I use a Canon Rebel T2i. I took some classes and thought that I was making some progress, but recently my photos just all seem to come out a little blurry. I hope to get some good advice. Thanks

Welcome. This is a great place to post your images and learn (I think you have to have 5 posts before you can start your own thread just to keep out the spammers). My first answer would be to get a good tripod. - Terry

Alan! A lot of what I see on line and even in print and also by people who call themselves professional is not really so good. Your pictures here are REALLY nice. The water drop couldn't be better. I like it very much.

Just shows the different ways people see things. I looked carefully at the background before commenting but decided that it was ok. My thinking is, it shouldn't take away from the beautiful subject of the water drop. So IMO it being dull is better. LOL, you can't please everyone!

Don't know where my other post went. I'm new to this site and still have to look around to see what is does. I wanted you to be sure that you knew how nice I think your photos are. Very good work, I can see you put a lot of thought into your pictures.

Hi. New to this site but not to forums. My name is Dave but since I use Rancher at other places, I'll use it here too. I live in the high country of Colorado. Lots of photo ops. I use Nikons and will probably be in a learning curve forever, but that's what makes it fun.

Hi everyone. This is my first post with this account. I was a member of this forum previously but had been away for quite some time. When I came back, apparently my account must have been hacked because when I tried to log in I was permanently banned for spam. My old screen name was erikzen.

One of the reasons my interest in this forum (and photography in general) was rekindled is that I will be taking an Alaskan cruise this summer and was thinking of upgrading some of my equipment.

But what happened to Olympus? I have an E-520 which I've been using for the past 3 or 4 years. For the most part, I like the camera very much but started thinking about some new lenses or perhaps upgrading the body. I was very surprised to see that Olympus seems to have all but abandoned their consumer level DSLRs in favor of the micro 4/3 cameras. The only DSLR they still sell is the E-5.

Is that basically it for Olympus; are they going to concentrate only on the micro line?

I have very little experience with high quality photography but I would love to snap that beautiful picture just like you all do. I am here to try and get some questions answered about beach photography. I have been inspired by the beach and ocean wave photography (Clark Little style). My name is Vojislav Markovic. I am a member of Photo Cinema and Video Association of Vojvodina. My involvement and interest in photography traces back to the elementary school where I took part in photography classes and workshops. During that period, I participated in inter-school competitions and collected some awards. Upon the completion of the elementary school, photography became my hobby. Initially, I photographed to express myself or to use photos in graphic design projects I worked on. Recently, I decided to affirm my talent by participating in photography competitions. At my very first competition which was organized by “Foto Kino Savez Vojvodine” (Photo Cinema and Video Association of Vojvodina) and titled “6th exhibition of digital photography”, two of my photographs were presented at the main event which was held at the end of 2011. At the beginning of 2012, I’ve participated on the photo competition entitled “Woman” and won the second place with my collection of esthetic nude art photography. Besides, some of my pho*togrpahs were published in the prominent photo magazine ReFoto. Again, in 2013 I won the second place in the competition “Woman”, but this time in the single photo category; while three my other photographs were included in the major exhibition.
My biggest problem is that I do not possess my own camera because I cant afford one, and every time I want to photograph something, I am forced to borrow camera from a friend and take photographs with his Canon EOS 550D camera or my mobile phone. I sincerely hope that I will once have an opportunity to buy myself a good quality professional camera and make a better and more interesting photographs.Since then I hope you will enjoy my current work!
