Watch out Speed, Yoda has some competition!
Earlier this year my sons and I took in a 9 year old iguana named Gimpy. He was raised by a very nice lady, but because of Gimp's love of her new hubby's hibiscus plants, she chose to find him a good home. He's got a great disposition, gets along well with our cat and he even tollerates our camera-shy pooch. Unfortunately he's a bit small for his age, has some scarring on one of his sides and has suffered some snout dammage over the years, but otherwise, he's a pretty good looking fella.. errrr.. iguana.

Ok Speed, bring on some new Yoda pics and if anyone else out there has an iguana, share 'em with us too!

All shots taken with the Nikon Coolpix 7900.

Peli, you old so and so...
Wow, Brian, quite a cluster of posts yesterday. Making up for lost time, are we?!? How are things?

Great shots of your "boi-y". That close-up would be an awesome poster with a few photoshop fx thrown in...

Snout damage, eh? I hate when THAT happens... :D

Woo Hoo! I love that third shot!!! Awesome catch my friend!

Here are the last couple of shots I've taken of Yoda. N80, Provia 100, Sigma 105mm, SB-28. Now I've got to go get some cool shots like you've got of Gimpy.

These were taken about seven months ago, but I don't think I've posted any of them.

    Hope you enjoy them.

I had a boyfriend once who had one of those things. Wouldn't be my first choice for a pet, but your photos make it look not quite so gross :)

Nice post and a wonderful adoption.

Here are some pics of my beardie Iphy.

He was born missing a foot on one back leg, and with only two toes on the other, both deformed.
