    Washington D.C. - 4AM

I finally got around to doing something I've wanted to do since I moved to the DC area four years ago: Night photos. So, I got up at 3AM today and drove into the city for a little stroll. Here are some of the early results......

That last one rocks. But 4:00 in the morning? :eek6: I can't get up that early even if the fish are biting.

LOL, thanks! I'm the same way... that's why it took me four years to get out shooting. It was worth it. DC is pretty cool in the wee hours. Kinda spooky, kinda surreal. The Vietnam memorial was really eerie.

Great Night photographs. Unluckily my spouse has all my weekends planed. And I get up too early daily to get to work weekdays.

I'm taking a photo safari of the monuments at night on Sept with www.washingtonphotosafari.com/ , we got a god deal through a local photography group.
I hope I get pics as good as yours and learn something.

Thanks! That sounds like it'll be a great time. There's so much to shoot in DC. Be sure to post some pics here afterwards!
