    Wall Paper
    Hi Folks...
Once a week I change the wall paper on my computers...What I do is I take the picture that stood out to me the most and use that one...It is not always the best pic, but the most meaningful...
How about you? What do u do for computer wall paper?

I use a plain blue background because the computer doesn't have to work out what parts of the background image need to be reloaded, and it doesn't take up memory for holding the bitmap of the image.
Boring, but every little bit helps if your computer isn't the fastest :(

I replace mine every few months. I usually use my favorite shot from my last road trip. I use dual monitors, so it has to be a good-looking landscape for me.

I use my photos too. Change them when the whim hits me.
I prefer some of my b/w but my wife likes the color ones such as the present one shown here.

I used to change mine all the time with whatever my favorite recent shot was. Since taking the below shot though it hasn't changed. I set it as centered with a black background and just like how the pic just fades into the black :o

    Re: Wall Paper
I have to keep all the backgrounds simple because the video editing software eats processor and memory space, No screen savers, and everything is always on so as not to compromise rendering time and multi stream effects, etc. That being said, when the program isn't running, a BG would be nice, but I'm too lazy to put it on the machines, I just keep them all the same gray or graphite as the Mac calls itg.

    Wow
Al these wall papers are very nice..Very cool...
I also understand about using the computers resources..I have most things that are not a necessity turned off on all my computers, but there are some things that I need to have..I guess I like neat looking things.

I have different photos on each of the computers I may use. The first one is my Home computer, Second is my Work computer, and the last three are my desktops at the three counter computers at work (three different locations).
